I had a small Maya Road chipboard album that I wanted to use for this project. I painted it black with acrylic craft paint, and used a white Uniball Signo gel pen to make it look like a blackboard with chalk on it.
The Girls' Paperie "Paper Girl" line was just perfect for this; it had the ideal mix of girly & vintage that I wanted to go along with Emerson's pics.
I threw in a few bits from the "On Holiday" line as well, like this little brad.
The two lines mix really well- the stickers below are from both lines.
On the page below, I hung a black label holder and wrote on it with a white paint marker to again give the allusion to chalk on a blackboard. This page is stamped on with a Paper Girl clear frame stamp, and then the inside of each frame is filled with a small strip of paper or sticker.
I love this album- and it was really fast & easy to make!
I love this album too! Its just too perfect!
