I really love making our home, our home. It's truly one of my favorite things to do (besides scrapbooking!).
I wanted to document our home in an evolving mini book. I want to be able to keep adding photos as they come along to this, so I've only created the base for most of the pages (but I have completed one inside spread so you can see!).
The colors in the Noel Mignon Cornucopia kit (2 left!) were perfect for reflecting the warmth I like our house to convey, plus it had perfect accents like the October Afternoon rub ons and the Melissa Frances key holes.
I cut the pages and the accents with an AccuCut machine, but you could use any sort of die cutting machine or just simple shapes to create the same effect.
Each page has a small list of things on it that we do in that room.
I'm excited to add more pics to this album!

A couple of things to note!
Noel just got in a bunch of October Afternoon, so if you are looking to track some down- like the adorable Good Cheer line- she's got it here!
If you are interested in a beautiful kit for the new year, there is one being released soon from Noel called "Love Song." I'm not trying to push product here, I promise. I just wanted to give y'all the heads up because her kits are great and they have been selling out very quickly lately, so if you want to get it, you might want to keep an eye on this thread.
And in a fun bit o' news, my "Christ is Lord" clipboard is being featured on the SiS Catwalk! I was absolutely delighted and thrilled to find out that Jen Jockisch had selected me!!!! It totally made my week. :)
Thanks for letting me share this news with y'all!!! :)
you know - there should be a whole catwalk that's just YOU girl!! love the album. i can't wait for us to buy a house so i can do something like that.
ReplyDeletewell of course you made the catwalk. you just have to post stuff. duh. it's kind of like submitting stuff...you know, to magazines?????!
ReplyDeleteThat is a really great idea.
ReplyDeleteI did that when we moved into this house to show before and afters...but I like just showing the everyday stuff.
Now come to my house and take pictures ;)
Love your homey book! Years from now you'll love looking back at how things were "back then".
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS on the Catwalk! It's not suprising that your gorgeous work was chosen. How awesome is it that you got the message of the Savior out there?!!!
I love this album! I'm working on getting pics into my Traditions album, I'll let you know when I post the pics!
