9 Days 'til Halloween...

I made this fun Halloween frame to decorate my little vignette I have going on in my dining room. I had some vintage sheet music from my friend Gretch that fit PERFECTLY with this, and a reproduction vintage postcard that I had to use.
(Supplies: Paper-Daisy D's; Glitter Chipboard-Cosmo Cricket; Glitter Foam Sticker-Making Memories; Die Cut-My Mind's Eye; Crepe Paper-Jenni Bowlin Studios; Button-Creative Cafe; Other-tulle & embroidery thread)

Come over to the Noel Mignon Tip & Technique blog to check out my tutorial on how to make your own glitter die cuts like the one shown below! (Click on it to make it larger to see the sparkle!)
If you haven't yet, make sure to sign up for the *new* Noel Mignon message board! I'd love to see you over there!

  3. Lovely! And can I just hang out with you for several days and soak up the ideas? Sans children, of course.

  4. Virginia,
I can't help but think of you with Ivey now reading the Harry Potter series. She recently asked me at the library if she could read them. She has buzzed through to book 4 already! A friend had the movies so as she finishes each one , she watches the movie. She is really disappointed when the movie changes so much from the book.
She asked her cousin the other day if she has read the books. THe reply was no! those books are about witches and witchcraft..."devil stuff". So, Ivey sent her an Mtv interview with JK Rowling to read. hmmm :)
