In case you're wondering, NO, this was not a baby shower for me. :) My hands and heart are plenty full at the moment. Hee!
One of the sweet younger women at church is expecting her first little one, so the women at our church threw her a shower this last weekend. I helped with the decorating. You won't see magazine worthy decorations here, but they were fun and simple and totally fit the personality of the new parents!
I made a simple bow tie banner and pennant banner with the new fella's name.
I am so thankful for my Silhouette machine... makes this kind of stuff easy-peasy!
My friend Elizabeth made these "cigars." So fun and definitely yummy!
I cut out vinyl mustaches and put them on the cups.
I also made a little album to fill up with advice for the new mom.
It was completely filled up by the time the shower was over. :)
As soon as will have my own daughter I would like a baby shower as well. So excited!
