I'm totally in love with the new lines from Lily Bee. The
designs are perfect to me. I wanted to whip up a couple of cards with the new lines, because I was intrigued with the idea of using the new 6x6 pads with one of the 12x12 papers. I love that the patterns on the s
mall pads of paper are proportional to their size. This first card uses the Picket Fence line- the 12x12 text paper (both sides) and then the smaller woodgrain and blue/brown pattern. I think it makes for a really cool contrast. I also added a star punched out of the green piece from the Stationary line for a bit of pop.
And because I already had my hands on that piece of green paper, I couldn't stop. It is my favorite shade of green. I'm obsessed with that green! :) I made a little note card using it and some of the "This and That" line of paper and stickers.
Some American Crafts glitter Thickers add some sparkle, along with some randomly placed rhinestones.**************
Today, I am going to attempt to get back to normal. (What I mean by normal, I have no idea.) Since I've been laid up in bed with the flu, I've basically just watched 52bajillion episodes of "Eureka" and slept. No cre
ativity. And definitely no Valentine's decorating or crafting. Which I am itching to do.
So... I'm hoping to get my regular chores out of the way quickly today so I can get to doing some fun stuff- and since the Valentine's Crop just started at Noelmignon, I should have plenty of inspiration and motivation. :)
saw those on the Lily Bee blog (without seeing the author of the post) I *knew* those were yours! They're so very "Virginia". You and Lily Bee are the perfect match. Girls Paperie too for that matter.
