Bic Mark It Winners & using text as a page element

Okay, I have to say... I may do a giveaway every day if I get to read awesome comments like the one on this contest! It made me smile so big to read every one of them... most of you I have had some sort of interaction with, either online or in real life, and it was like a big get together of friends. This week on the Noelmignon.com blog, I talked a little bit about how using text/journaling on a layout can be a design element in and of itself. Here's my sample layout, using the Bic Mark Its, and the new Dear Diary kit (3 left!).

I wanted to scrap a few of these pics I took on the way to get Emerson from school the other day. It's our daily routine to walk with some friends of ours and pick her up, and I know I'll want to remember these days.

Journaling: Every day, we leave at 10 'til 3 to go pick up Em at school. We park in downtown Leeds. I unload the double stroller, Sabs & Ari get buckled in, and away we go. Atticus finds cool sticks. We crunch through leaves or splash through puddles. We meet up with Kim & Lida B., and wait for Em & the Hill boys to come out. Atticus & Felix & Sabs run around like crazy. Em hugs Kaylie goodbye, and it's off to home. Our daily routine. Fall 2010.
