New goal

I made this layout with the "Object of my Affection" kit for the newest Noel Mignon challenge over on the challenge blog (it has the cutest prize for it too!).

My layout is focusing on my new goal to focus on running & exercising. It's time to "man up," (or woman up!) and whip this body into shape.
I tried a new technique and sewed a flower together. I adapted Greta's technique by hand-sewing the flowers and leaving one side "raw." I love how it turning out- I think I might need to make a few more of these... for headbands...barrettes...pins... t-shirts.... ;)I used my Silhouette machine to cut the large background frame, and a scalloped circle punch for all the accents on the left side of the page. Doing a page with a large group of smaller accents and then a large single accent opposite them leaves the layout feeling visually balanced. The pops of red/pink throughout keep your eye moving through the page.

  3. may have to do this one just to get me going. It immediately made me think of "He makes all things new.." so maybe just maybe I'll get on this. We'll see. Love yours though. Great flower technique, and love the sillouette shape!
