Color Me Daisy- Autumn Splendor Kit!

This past week, I went to visit my family and I brought my scrappin' stuff with me in the hopes of sneaking in a little scrappy time. I was able to sit and chill out with my little sis and do some scrappin' on several evenings- and used the new Autumn Splendor (November Kit) from Color Me Daisy.

Here are my projects!

This one is for my November challenge: click here to read more about it.

(I added the rhinestones from my stash, but everything else is from the kit!)

My friends Michelle and Katie added some beautiful embroidery to several baby onesies for Ariana, and I was inspired by their creations to add the cool velvet rick rack and colorful buttons from the kit to a onesie.

I've had this layout in mind to create for a really long time, and it feels good to have it down on paper!

I found this quote the other day on someone's blog (I can't remember who and now it's driving me crazy!) and my friend Mandy suggested that I pair it with these photos... I think it is a perfect combination!

I have a few more things in mind to make with this kit... I'll be sharing those soon!

  6. What a beautiful job you've done with this kit, Virginia! I love how you incorporate so many of the elements without it looking too busy. I still REALLY like that onesie and may have to try that on some shirts for my girls. Wouldn't that be a fun thing to do for Christmas?!
