A few things we've been doing:
Heading to Mom's Day Out...
Hitting up "Happy Hour" at Sonic:
Learning to write letters:
Hitting up the McWane Center:I haven't forgotten about the baby name announcement & prizes giveaway, so my plan is to work on prescheduling some posts for next week so I can get rolling on that. Trying to just sit down and blog (like I normally do) just ain't happening these days!
In scrappy news:
We've got an awesome online crop going on this week on the Noel Mignon message boards; make sure to come over and check it out!
Yesterday was my challenge (and you have time to play with it all week- your version isn't due until the 19th!)... it's called the "Wish You Were Here" challenge. To read more details about it, go to the "Sizzlin' Summer Crop" in the forums and look for the thread.
Oh and hey- if you're interested in learning to use that huge stack of stamps you bought but never figured out how to use beyond some black ink (ahem, ME!), you've got to check out this online class from my friend Michele Kovack. She's offering a class for all of us to learn cool techniques! I've seen a few of the things she has in store for us and it looks really fun. I can't wait! To sign up, just click this link and you can pay on the paypal widget !
Ok, since my kids have been pestering me for lunch 5 million times since I sat down 10 minutes ago to write this post, I'd better go and feed them. Lordy knows that they will starve to death if not fed by 11:10am. ;)
I loved that layout with the pic of your grandpa. It made me tear up because I wish my grandma was still here to see stuff like that. I want to do something like that now (= Thanks for the inspiration
