So yesterday, I get this email from sweet Debbie letting me know that my blog has gotten all wacky with the images in the background... (something to do with the original image hosting from GosuBlogger).
I also suspect it was my lonely blog's way of getting my attention to come back here and do some updating!
It was very fortuitous then, today, when I was perusing my GoogleReader and found this awesome site featured on Tip Junkie: Shabby Blogs. If you go to the main Shabby Blogs website (here), you will see buttons at the top for backgrounds, headers, and all sorts of other images... all for free! I had a really hard time picking just one... so you might see the background change a lot more frequently around here! hehe
So now I have a new look... I do want to create a new header still, so that is next on the "to do list." Hopefully I'll be back in a normal updating routine... life should be getting a little more normal soon.
April has been a hugely busy month for us, what with playdates, McWane Center visits, Easter egg hunts, Easter services, community group, our missions conference at church, and an upcoming birthday bash for my two oldest monkies.
I have been taking more pictures lately (yay!) and with a lovely 50 free prints coupon for Snapfish, was able to get all my Easter pics edited and printed off this week, ready for scrapping!
I did this layout this past weekend, using the Lovely Day kit from Noel Mignon (I think there's a few left if you want to snag one of these!).
I added some kraft cardstock and the Jenni Bowlin rubons that I love so much!
I loved how Ann Marie Teo (the Noel Mignon guest designer for April) backed her die cut paper with cardstock, so I had to try it too. :)
It felt so good to sit and create... and the hubs is bringing home my new Scripts kit tonight, so I shall be sharing some new projects from that very soon too!
