Auction Items- Shabby Chic Sign and Home Mini Album

My friend Brittney is raising money to help support finding a cure for breast cancer, and this weekend at the Scrap Etc. Event, she is hosting an auction to benefit this cause. She asked me if I would donate a couple of items, so this is what I whipped up for her!

The first item is a shabby chic inspired sign. I love making these! I'm planning on making a few to sell in our etsy shop very soon, too!

The second item is a little mini album based around the concept of "home." It's made from a mixture of chipboard & acrylic, patterned paper, and lots of fun elements.

I used some Scenic Route Sonoma patterned paper as the main pieces, and then mixed in some Fancy Pants chipboard, and lots of pieces from the Noel Mignon Nightingale kit (there's a few left if you want one!) and Cornucopia kit (sorry, sold out!).
(That cool collage frame is a free download from Shabby Blogs. Can you tell I love that place?!)

On a final note, you may notice that I'm posting during the Scrap Etc. Event. My doctor advised me a couple of weeks ago that I needed to "chill out" and cut out a few things from my schedule. I had to make some really hard decisions and remove a few things from my plate, one being the Event this weekend. I'm pretty bummed as I've been at all the other ones, but it'll be ok. I'm there in spirit and plan on doing lots of scrapping this weekend, pretending I'm there!
