Tiny Ballerina

This is probably one of my most favorite layouts to date. It absolutely made my heart smile to create this page about Emerson's first day at ballet, incorporating her sweet self-portrait into the memory.
She added the little tutu sticker to her drawing. I thought that was so creative! I stuck on the magic wand in her little hand, because I knew she just felt magical that day. :)
Layers of scalloped paper, a scalloped border cut from Sassafrass paper, and ruffles from the Little Women pages add a girly touch.
I used some Hambly "stitches" rubons to the page, juxtaposed against the staples, they add a cool look.
Everything on here is from the Noel Mignon Paper Doll kit except for the Hambly stitches rub ons, which you can get here! (Those things are my favorite for late at night scrapping when I don't want to wake the kiddos with my sewing machine!)

  1. This is SO awesome! Love that you used pages from Little Women (it's a fave of mine).

I'm hoping to get into scrapping more seriously here really soon.

    When I don't, I just feel empty.

  2. It's this kinda stuff that makes me think I want one...

    A silhouette. Not a child.
